๐๐ FREE Amigurumi๐๐ Pineapple Crochet pattern๐๐
Start with Magic circle
Rnd 1 - 11DC in the centre of the magic circle (12) sl st,
Rnd 2 - Ch2, 2DC in each stitch, sl st (24)
Rnd 3 - Ch2, *1DC, 2DC in next *Repeat sl st (36)
Rnd 4 - Ch2, 1DC in each stitch, sl st (36)
Starting on the Alligator stitch now - (Some of this pattern is hard to explain and easy to see so please check out my video so you can get a clear understanding of how exactly to do these things)
Rnd 5 - Ch1, 5DC in next DC (Post), *Ch1, Turn work and 5DC up the other DC, Skip 2st 1sc in next, skip 2st, 5DC in next Post Repeat* till the end of the Row, (you should end up with 5 alligator stitches)
Rnd 6 - Ch2, 1DC in every stitch, 5 dc under the shell with one dc being in the centre of the shell and two DC inbetween the shells which will be the spot where you will place your neck rows of crocodile stitches
Rnd 7 -16 - Repeat rows 5 and 6 till you have 6 rows of crocodile (alligator) stitches
slip stitch at the end of every row to complete the round
Rnd 17 - equally space out 20 DC, slip st to complete the row (20)
Rnd 18 - DC2tog for the entire round, sl st (10)
fasten off while leaving a long tail for sewing.
stuff your pineapple to your desired firmness and sew up the hole
refer to the leaf pattern for the leafs to complete the pineapple, i made 12 leafs but you may make as many as you like depending on how full you want your pineapple leafs to be
