  1. Hello, These are adorable. I just made my first one. However, I thought they were a bit big but I don't have any babies to compare/size them on, so I went ahead and reduced the number of initial stitches to 8. It still looked kinda big to me. I'm using a 3.5mm/E hook per your suggestion. I'm using Caron Simply Soft yarn. I was thinking maybe I should use size 3/baby yarn? I'm not sure. Do you know what the measurements are, circumference and length?

    I'm hoping you can help by letting me know just how small or big a baby's hands are...lol. (My baby is 30 yrs old and was a preemie so she was much smaller than avg. We used cabbage patch doll clothes the first couple months...lol
